no frills but great food
This restaurant feels like the kind of place you would find in Japan and I've been told that this is the restaurant that Japanese tourists come to when they want Japanese food. The food is authentic and the prices are good for the quality. The tempura was great. The sushi was fresh and tasty. They were light on the wasabi and only gave ginger upon request but that is a common occurrence in Madrid Japanese restaurants. We had a lightly cooked chicken with spicy sauce that was really good too.
Service was a little slow and we were left reading the menu without a drink. They also brought everything all at once when I might have preferred a more staged approach but that's another common complaint I've had with other Japanese restaurants in Madrid.
Psyched to try more of there food. We will definitely be going back.
