i love this place
It is a restaurant in the old part of town. It has typical Saboyan food, specially from the French area of this region, in a very authentic atmosphere, far from the tourists. The food is excellent, as usual in Lyon, and the waiters are very friendly. The price is excellent: around 12€ each.

It is a beautiful museum in the Jardin de Tulleries with an impressive collection of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings illuminated by the sunlight which enters throught the ceiling to this former orange greenhouse.
In the upper floor, there are some oval rooms with enormous paintings of Monet's well-known water lilies.
In the lower floor, there are paintings of Cézanne, Renoir, Matise, Modigliani, Monet, Picasso, Sisley, etc..

This restaurant is quite expensive, but here you can eat really wonderful traditional basque food. They also have a bar where you can have some pintxos which are just as good. I agree with the people who were impressed by their croquettes.

The food is great, as the french food typically is. The decorations makes you feel as if you were really in a small cosy bistrot in the old part of town of Montpelier (home town for the owners). All the waiters are french and they are all really nice and friendly
